Interview mastery

Leaders in operations, accounting, IT and engineering are often highly accomplished, yet less accustomed to presenting to senior leadership. Being interviewed may therefore feel less natural than it does for peers in commercial functions such as marketing, GTM, sales, BD and strategy.

The same is often true if you have stayed with one company for fifteen years or more. Loyalty and long tenure build real depth, but they can also mean it has been a long time since you last had to make your case at executive level. The interview process evolves even if your role has not required you to think about it, and it is entirely normal to feel rusty.
